The majority of my working career has been in the world of artificial grass, working for giants of the industry including Desso, TigerTurf, Bonar Yarns and CCGrass. With involvement in all aspects of the process, I use my experience to support those who need it, be it companies operating in this sector, or helping pitch and facility owners choose the right artificial turf system. Throughout my career, I have been part of many innovations within the industry, including the development of products such as the fibre injected systems in natural turf that are now in most major stadiums, texturised monofilaments for hockey that replaced older nylon surfaces, as the “go-to” turf, as well as naming, creating, launching and establishing a global synthetic turf brand. I am passionate about synthetic turf and what it enables. For me, success is seeing a dream become reality and the enjoyment a sports facility can bring to so many people.
I started working in the artificial grass industry in 2016, as a marketing assistant whilst learning about the world of synthetic sport surfaces. After a short break, I returned to the industry in 2020 and have not looked back. I now pride myself on the knowledge I have acquired and continue to learn daily the intricacies of getting the right system for each specific project need. Not only that, but how to market each product, gain traction on social media platforms and increase others knowledge of the industry via content creation and copywriting. The constant evolution of the artificial grass market, whether its environmentally innovative solutions or the possibility for more sports to be accessible to all, keeps me on my toes, eager to learn more and support clients and companies that need it.
